Spanish, French or Mandarin Immersion Summer Program
Hola! 你好！- nǐ hǎo!. Enrollment is now open for our Spanish, French or Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp 2023! Bring your children ages 3-12 to full days of fun activities such as crafts, arts, and storytelling, among others. All classes are age/level based and conducted by experienced native Spanish, French or Mandarin speakers specializing in child development and education. Your children will not only learn the language but, even more importantly, better understand the Hispanic, French and Mandarin culture as all of our learning activities aim at sensitive cultural enrichment and extensive communication practice. Private Classes (one-one)
Private one-on-one classes might seem expensive at first but they really pay off in the long run. Curriculum is customized based on individual, specific needs and instruction is delivered at the pace of the individual student taking the class, which results in a very effective and efficient use of the student’s time. This class is ideal for students with extreme time constraints or in need of immediate results.
Classes are offered on site or off site (prices vary). Make up classes are available to maximize effectiveness. Schedules and classes are formed based on students’ availability.

Group Classes for Teens and Adults
An economical alternative to Private Instruction is to form a small group language class. Each of our Group Classes is customized toward that end, with curricula that includes specific target language grammar and usage. A Group Class implies shared private language lessons with classmates, friends, or coworkers with common language learning needs and similar proficiency levels. Classes start weekly. To form a group a minimum of 2 people is needed, with a maximum 5 students per group and the commitment to take no less than 8 hours of class. Classes are available on site and off site (prices vary). Make-up classes will be held in different classes, when available. . Groups are formed on an ongoing basis.
Keep in mind that this class setting requires the student’s commitment to expose him/herself to the target language outside of class time, through any kind of media, especially radio, TV or YouTube, to enhance results.

Intensive Classes
Intensive Classes are the perfect choice for students seeking excellent results in a short period of time. Whether it is because of work or travel needs, Intensive Classes will meet your needs without sacrificing the quality or detail of the instruction delivered in regular classes. Curriculum is designed keeping in mind that overwhelming delivery of content backfires and therefore carefully thought has been given to pace, intervals, and breaks to ensure that your experience is pleasant and results are effective and satisfactory.

Juniors’ Classes
Pre-teens need a very special type of motivation and we know it. This is why we have crafted a program targeting youth from 9 to 12 years old who wish to learn a second language or improve their skills in the second language they may be already taking at school. Our approach is very communicative and uses typical teenage-related topics for motivation, emphasizing speaking and writing skills.

Children’s Classes
We also know what children like and how they learn! Our Children’s Classes target kids ages 3 to 8 and aim at their learning through games, visuals, songs, movement activities, bingos,, storytelling. Classes are particularly active and fun. Instructors not only have children themselves, but are also knowledgeable on child development and pedagogy. Our classes emphasize oral communication from the start and parents can expect to see results from the first day of classes.

After School Classes
In addition to our on-site Children’s Classes, we also offer languages programs after classes in elementary schools. Curriculum is similar to our on site offering, with the added convenience of keeping your children busy, active, and focused on a second language right after their regular school classes. Our approach in After School Classes is very dynamic and fun. We know kids have been in class for a number of hours already and we do not want them to feel their After School Class is an additional burden before they go home. This is why we focus the class on fun activities where your kids will learn through games, music, books, posters, visuals, puppets, etc. They will love it and, to make it even better, they will be learning a second language without even being fully aware of it!

Corporate Classes
Corporate Classes are structured in view of each specific corporation’s employees’ specific needs, which normally depend upon the industry in which they are. Our instructors go to your site to deliver customized curriculum with similar quality standards as those on site. Every employee enrolled in the class is closely monitored by the instructor and his/her progress may be reported to the management, if needed. Please contact us to discuss your company needs and goals, target language, and timeframes and schedules. Groups require a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 5.

The more English you speak, the higher your chances of success! Far from being an exaggeration, this statement is true almost anywhere in the world. At Gate Languages we have an ESL program that focuses in helping students not only speak English but also understand American culture. We focus on American English grammar, reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking skills taught by highly experienced and qualified instructors.

Legal Spanish
This class aims at providing attorneys, paralegals, or legal professionals in general with sufficient elements to better understand how the legal system operates in Latin American countries and building participant’s legal Spanish vocabulary through legal glossaries, class discussion, and role plays.
The class is taught mainly in Spanish and consists of 3 parts of 2 hours each:
1) Introduction to the Latin American Legal System
This part discusses foundational elements of the legal system, emphasizing how it differentiates from the American Legal system.
2) Business Law
This part describes different forms used to enter into business relationships , analyzing similarities and differences with the American Legal System.
3) Criminal Law
This part focuses on terminology and reiterates differences in the criminal systems.

Immersion Programs: Study abroad in Lima, Peru or in Orange County, California
Gate Languages facilitates immersion programs that include not only classes of Spanish or English but also the option to homestay with local families and enjoy a holistic experience in a Latin American country or in Orange County in California.
Spanish classes are offered through agreements with renowned language school in Lima, Peru. These local schools are fully accredited and have been carefully selected to ensure that our methodology is followed in detail so that results are more effective than offerings of any other more traditional school. In addition to your educational experience, you have the option to load your package with a number of cultural and recreational activities that include visits to Inca ruins, including Machu Picchu, mountaineering, surfing, etc
English classes are offered at our Newport Beach campus, in beautiful Orange County, California, only minutes away from the famous Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and San Clemente. English classes can also be complemented with recreational and cultural, including visits to theme parks, national parks, or surfing.

The Conversation Club is ideal for students with an intermediate or advanced level in the target language. Conversation topics are are extracted from literature or videos and emphasis is placed on fluency without disregarding grammar or pronunciation.

Spanish for Business, where our students will expand their vocabulary, improve their ability to speak and write in Spanish in both social and professional interactions, learn skills that you can apply to business negotiations, written reports and emails, and professional presentations.

Spanish for Healthcare Professionals
Spanish for Healthcare Professionals focuses on conversational interactions typical in healthcare settings such as clinics, hospitals, and medical centers, and between medical practitioners, patients, and third parties involved.
Students are exposed to commonly-used phraseology and are given extensive opportunity for practice through role play and individual pronunciation drills.
Grammar is limited to the minimum possible.
